Title: Chippenham Rail User Group - 12th July 2018
Post by: grahame on April 16, 2018, 10:11:43
Just a notice of the date for a meeting ... but you'll notice I'm posting in TransWilts rather than in the London to Bristol board.

TransWilts accounts for less than 10% (well less than 10%!) of passengers arriving at and leaving from Chippenham.  However, it's the smaller lines / thinner services that seem to be disproportionately generating community interest, thus my homing of the thread here.   I will follow up on this thread with links, etc, closer to the time (and please feel free to nudge me as it's my TransWilts boss, Paul Johnson who's the lead person on this one, and I can find out more and post an update).

P.S. Already on the July agenda
1. Update on the Chippenham Station - new gatelines performance
2. Progress on an information/poster site at the station
3. Update on Electrification and wider rail issues in Wiltshire
4. Update on the Public Realm projects around the station including northern lift and access.
5. Progress on the Live Departure information to be displayed in the Town Hall information area.

Venue to be confirmed - early days of the group and they've tried several place / not yet found the ideal!
