Title: BEWARE possible crossrail investment scam
Post by: broadgage on April 17, 2018, 06:33:55
I have recently seen a number of adverts for "Crossrail investment bonds" Offering a very attractive sounding interest rate.
The adverts are very carefully worded so as to imply that that these bonds are some sort of government run or at least government backed scheme to finance the building of Crossrail.

In fact it seems that these are a fairly standard investment in office blocks and shopping centres that are "near" the Crossrail route or that are "expected" to gain in value as a result.

I would urge avoiding any such investments.
And if you do wish to invest in property, seek independent financial advice, rather than being influenced by on line adverts.

These adverts seem to pop-up on random websites, but AFTER visiting this site.
