Title: Infrastructure enhancements - Wiltshire Post by: grahame on April 19, 2018, 21:35:00 Wonderful to see all the pictures from the Bristol area and the Great Western main lines of work being done to modernise and enhance the railway. At the second most recent station to open in Wiltshire, further work is now underway to substantially lengthen the platforms; I went out there this evening and this is what's going on with platform 2. The scale of the work required at Dilton Marsh (for that is where you were, I think ;) ) perhaps gives some idea of the even greater scale of work that would be required to deliver our disabled ramp access to platform 1 at Nailsea & Backwell Station. It will still be a short platform.
