Title: Phone apps / websites
Post by: Phantom on April 27, 2018, 16:30:35
Noticed at Temple Meads tonight (as I was sat on the train) a guard had the blue platform display screen on his mobile

These are the ones that have been appearing on walls around mainline stations over the past months.

Does anyone know how to get it on a phone is it an app or a website?

The geek in me finds it very interesting to look at

Not every station. Just those operated by certain TOCs. e.g. SWR stations are not listed.

Do you mean the schematic track diagrams which is on the left of the displays at the major stations. if so these are I believe restricted and you have to request access. The displays at stations is a combination of 2 windows which are fixed and locked for each individual location and cannot be changed unless the slimline glass fronted cabinet is opened up and a keyboard plugged in, have you tried www.opentraintimes.com/maps ?
