Title: Victoria to Heathrow Post by: Fourbee on May 05, 2018, 11:59:24 On board an SWR service I overheard a passenger wanting to buy a ticket to travel to Heathrow T3 from Victoria for later. The guy had a contactless card and wanted to use the tube.
£10.20 was the fare he paid the guard for a paper ticket. I can only assume it was this: http://www.brfares.com/#faredetail?orig=1072&dest=0786&rte=1000&tkt=SDS LONDON TERMINALS - ZONE U1256 LONDN That has a routing ANY - PERMITTED, but there is also a VIA UNDERGRD/DLR version at £6.00. Notwithstanding the fact that tapping in/out with contactless would be cheaper anyway what extra route(s) could you take on the £10.20 ticket vs the £6.00 one?
