Title: Wokingham station lorry park
Post by: stuving on July 06, 2018, 22:12:36
I saw this lorry was static on the crossing from my window. Apparently he had no forward gears at all, and after 25 minutes  - with a volunteer banksman - ran it back off the crossing (mostly by gravity). So it was a near-miss from the railway's point of view. It was still blocking the road at the junction, though only for about half an hour (I didn't see if it had help to get moving). All in all a lucky escape from a hot and sticky "shock rail chaos" evening.
