Title: Chris Grayling says no GWR franchise split in the far South West
Post by: woody on July 25, 2018, 07:21:23
According to my local BBC South West "Spotlight" news programme (24th July) the government has abandoned any idea of splitting the GWR franchise in the far south west. It also said that that there would be no cuts now to Cross Country services in the SW where services to Torbay were under threat.

I will lock this thread so we continue the discussion in that single place. but worth leaving here as it's an important subject line flag - sort of like a link farm!  (See you locked it too, Bobm  ;) )
