Post by: Clan Line on August 13, 2018, 11:14:05
This sign has appeared on the recently extended platform at Warminster. 159 + 158 to Waterloo now  ??? ???           The other platform just says "5 Car".

I think the following is a public post ... Slaithwaite cropped up on my news feed the other day for having a cone-impersonating ticket vending machine.

I wonder if it's something to do with SWR not opening / using the door directly behind the driver on their 158/159 trains, whereas GWR use all the doors?

You will be glad to know that even newer signs have now appeared on both platforms at Warminster - both now just proclaim "5 car stop". It appears that someone has money to waste ! Shame they couldn't waste it on those awful 165/6s that we have been condemned to suffer for the next umpteen years.
