I saw that set pass me at Dawlish this morning. I was just getting out of the car, parked by the Marine Tavern, as it exited Kennaway Tunnel. Wasn't quick enough to grab a pic.

I did bag 'Harry Patch' a little later. Hopefully this power car (43172 - staying with GWR) will be put to appropriate use on Remembrance Sunday/Armistice Day, 11th November 2018. 100 years since the cessation of hostilities in the First World War.

Rumour has it that a fully fitted kitchen will be on boards providing pullman services.

Love it ... and there is now room at Melksham for it to be fully platformed. But it couldn't cope with the passenger numbers these days.

Bet it's acceleration is almost at IET levels ;-)
