Title: Wireless microphones at stations
Post by: CMRail on October 14, 2018, 18:25:31
Recently I have noticed that the train dispatchers/ delivery assistances seem to have these microphones which connect to the platform speaker. Seen at Gloucester, Bath, Dawlish and somewhere else which I can not remember.

Anyone have any idea how these work/what they use?

Been using these at tube stations for a few years too. Much better than automated announcements.

Almost universal on the Underground. No idea what system is used.
