Title: Looking forward - another year, and not just operations but a wider picture
Post by: grahame on November 12, 2018, 06:54:26
Another year passes ... and I have changed the topic of this board from "Looking forward - 2018 to 2045" to "Looking forward - 2019 to 2045". Housekeeping.

I have also - not so much fine-tuned housekeeping - added text to the subtitle which now reads:"Refranchising services in the South West and South Wales, infrastructure and other changes (including wider, social and Coffee Shop)" Additions in Italics.  There are various thread of discussion on how we're moving the Coffee Shop forward;  I'm going to move some threads into this board and add new ones.    That will make them far easier to find and follow, and will keep the important but longer term stuff out of places like "news and assistance" where we provide help to members with immediate questions on how to do something on the forum.

A further change, splitting forum development from service development is something I may suggest at a future point, but for the moment I'm thinking we would end up with two rather sparse boards, and I really hope for the future that the Coffee Shop will be an important if small player on the scene.

Yes, it is an important player but you are far far too modest about your own part in getting the whole set up started and on the road. The residents of Melksham and the readers of this forum owe you a enormous debt of gratitude. Us dear readers, would never even have heard of Melksham without you ! And most unlike me, I am not making a facetious comment !

Melksham has almost achieved a "Taunton" status in picture quizzes!  :D ;)
