Title: Up platform??

Bourne End: Lighting Problem
There is no lighting on the Up platform and Car Park at Bourne End station

Silly question ... does Bourne End actually have up and down platforms?   I thought all through trains there called at a single platform (whichever way is up or down) ... shared with Marlow arrivals and departures, with the second platform only used for terminating trains to / from Maidenhead in the peaks

Presumably old terminology from when it was a through station. The up platform being the one that is now used in peak hours to/from Maidenhead only

Beat me to it Adelante.

Up platform is now Platform 1 and is used for the Maidenhead Peak Shuttle. Beware in this weather it is also very wet with puddling water.

if you look on Realtime Trains you will see the Marlow and Maidenhead trains do a double departure in the morning peak.

Thought that was a DR speciality especially on the narrow gauge.
