Title: New reason for cancellations
Post by: grahame on February 09, 2019, 12:59:31 pm

Quote
16:45 Newbury Racecourse to Reading due 17:02
16:45 Newbury Racecourse to Reading due 17:02 will be cancelled.
This is due to a problem currently under investigation.

Problem being investigated relates to how the horses got suspected horse flu ... which has resulted in the race meeting being called off

I can't think of a suitable comment, but since this thread has already been up for eight hours or so, it is rather 'after the horse has bolted'.

If that train had been scheduled 3 hours and fifty five minutes earlier - it would have been at 20 to 1 !
