Title: 29th June 2019 - Melksham Carnival
Post by: grahame on April 15, 2019, 14:32:25
Posting up on the "Coffee Shop" because I have an idea there will be something "public transport" in the parade and I may be looking for volunteers.     We have had great fun and been very productive too in past years!

Great but exhausting day.  Enormous thanks to everyone who helped - especially in support of Melksham Rail User Group in the new Volunteer Hi_Vis pink.

As others see me - thanks for the photos, Lisa!

Melksham Carnival parade, showing off new Rail Volunteer Hi-Vis colours. Big "thank you" to First Bus for providing the support vehicle - large numbers of public transport timetables handed out to encourage families who may not be regaular public transport users.

The leaflets cannot say everything - please ask me if you've any follow up questions. If you missed a leaflet, they're at the TIC, the Town Hall and the Library and online via http://www.mrug.org.uk/ too.
