End of the line for InterCity 125 trains

InterCity 125 High Speed Trains are being phased out after more than 40 years. The trains were used on the lines between Paddington, Reading, Newbury and Bristol.

When they were introduced they brought a new generation of faster travel all over the country. Transport Correspondent Mike Pearse reports.

Is the civilisation they think about outside or inside the M25?

Was this just on ITV Meridian? That wouldn't cover your area. The reporter did say that it was the end of the line for 125s into Paddington and towards the end he mentioned that it would be some time before they withdrawn across the rest of the country (that would presumably include the west Country)
