Title: Rusty Rails at Totnes
Post by: bobm on May 31, 2019, 08:41:50
Probably because it hasn't been causing too much disruption an ongoing signal problem at Totnes has gone unreported.

For the last few weeks all services in both directions have had to use the platform loops with those services not due to call there unable to use the through lines.

The problem appears to be the datalink back to Exeter Panel box.

Amazing how quickly unused lines start to go rusty.

Ah, that explains why the Riviera used the platform lines, I did wonder.
