Nobody willing to give it a try then? Perhaps its time to give some clues.

It is a former station building on a line that is now a footpath and cycle track about 130 miles from Bristol and 155 miles from London, although if you went from there by train you would probably have started from Euston.

The passenger service was withdrawn well before Beeching and even the freight had gone by 1962.

This station building was the only one on the line to have survived;  all the rest were demolished.

My first thought when I saw it was that it was reminiscent of Cheddleton ... but that's just a bit far north ... tempted by the Stafford branch of the Great Northern from Derby.     With those distance from London and Bristol, the other choice zone puts us in the sea somewhere of the Isle of Wight, and the would not be a Euston trip.

You are getting warm with Cheddleton.

The mileages I quoted were from Google Street View, not railway mileages.

North Staffs Railway?

The right company - the architecture is the main clue :)

I was on a predominantly off-road bike ride from Chippenham to Manchester (not all in one go of course!)

I've got another fiendish one lined up for tomorrow  ;D

Anyone whose interests include cycling and railways could check out the Great Western Randonnees series of rides. They won't be to everyone's taste, they're from 60 miles up and be warned that some include ferocious hills (but some are quite flat), but most have some sort of railway connection and could be used as inspiration for your own ride ideas. One was organised not so long ago to coincide with the last HST from Paddington and included a helper on the station concourse dressed up as Brunel! (it was about 3 o'clock in the morning so this didn't interfere with passengers).

The organiser is a friend of mine.
