Title: Meet the Managing Director - from 17:00 on Monday 5th August
Post by: grahame on August 05, 2019, 13:32:05
From 18:00 17:00 this evening, Mark Hopwood, Managing Director of Great Western Railway, will be here on the Great Western Coffee Shop forum to answer questions from members.

Questions have already been submitted and selected (by our moderator team) ahead of time, and new threads will be started by our master of ceremonies - Red Squirrel - at 10 minute intervals.  Mark already knows what the questions are, giving him an opportunity to research anything that he needs to, and to get text prepared so we don't have to wait while an answer is entered.   Once the question and initial answer are up, any registered and signed in member can follow up.

We have more questions than we have time for - but we will be looking to get answers / comments on the rest. Some relate to specific lines or stations and those many very well best answered locally, but their submission via this session / mechanism will help ensure they're seen in the overall GWR position.

Questions and answers will remain on the forum in archive after the event for reference for the indefinite future.

Enjoy the session this evening.  I will pass over to Req Squirrel just before 6 5, then sit back, enjoy watching, but with one eye on the server to ensure it behaves in spite of all the excitement!
