Post by: grahame on August 26, 2019, 15:54:35
Remember that 4TC that turned up in Warmsinster a couple of weeks ago?   If you missed it - another chance - from Focus Transport (https://www.focustransport.org/2019/08/date-for-diary-metropolitan-line.html)

Enjoy lazy September days on the Metropolitan line, travelling in vintage style through lush suburbia on 1950s ex-British Rail 4TC coaches, hauled by Sarah Siddons electric locomotive and a Class 20 locomotive.

Re-live the 1950s as you board the heritage train and take time to enjoy the special atmosphere at Amersham station, where you can mingle with costumed characters and browse our special pop-up Museum shop.
On Sunday 8 September only, courtesy of the LTM Friends, you'll also be able to enjoy free heritage rides up to Amersham Old Town, where the annual Heritage Day is taking place, on buses including RM2 from the museum collection
