Stourbridge Junction?  Reminds me of the little service shed for the Parry People Mover, Class 139s.

That was also my immediate first thought. Pretty sure I've got a photo of the same shed somewhere.

Definitely Stourbridge Junction.

I thought it was the entrance to a Secret BunkerTM of HST125s to serve the post-apocalyptic railway community.  ;D

Are there any other pictures of a passenger with the same number of wheels as the train?

This forum clearly has inspirational power. I've decided to take a look at the Stourbridge PPM myself and also break the travel at Droitwich Spa for a little nose around there. If I split my journey Temple Meads to Worcester Shrub Hill, then Shrub Hill to Stourbridge Town, it's just over 15 quid (with my card) using cheap day returns. Add the Redland to Temple Meads bit for less than two quid and that's still under 17 pounds of your earth money for a day out.
Anybody know much about Droitwich?

It is rather salty. It has a Spa (and a Spar).

I think that's about it.

Well, as long as it's got a Spar......

My work is done!

Actually I know Droitwich very well - there's plenty there to keep you entertained for upwards of half an hour. Probably the best bit is High Street, which is about ten minutes' walk from the station; lots of teetering timber-framed houses rendered wonky by brine extraction. Saunter back via the Vines Park for a bit of canalside interest, and perhaps drop in at the Gardeners Arms on Vines Lane if a swift half floats your boat.

Or there's the Town Trail, if you prefer: https://www.visitdroitwichspa.com/droitwich/heritage-town-trail/

No. Between Kalundborg and Allouis, isn't it?

Pedant alert!
The masts are actually in Wychbold, some 3 miles distant from Droitwich

Many thanks all, it looks like a jolly enough jaunt for Wednesday and the weather seems okay too. I'm not expecting the Hanging Gardens of Babylon or herds of Wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plain!  Well, what can you get these days for £16.30?

But you can see them from Droitwich and their frequency is marked Droitwich on my antique radio.   ;D

According to Trip Advisor, you can't expect to find those at Clevedon Marine Lake either

I'm not sure what Gary above was expecting from the sea pool in Clevedon- the hanging gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping across the plain?

In railway terms, don't miss the centre-pivot lower quadrant semaphores at the north end of the down platform. Quite a nice box too, at the junction.
