One of fifteen new staff that FGW have employed who use to be employed with Thomas Cook, and just before Christmas. They'll be obvious to spot on the trains though, as they'll be pointing out the exits before departure. It may be that they hired the people because of the undoubted skills they already possessed, so making them a better option for GWR than someone new to customer service - but who cares? Everyone's a winner!
