A new GWR entrant was interviewed on Radio Bristol about starting work for GWR.

One of fifteen new staff that FGW have employed who use to be employed with Thomas Cook,

and just before Christmas.

Really good news for those ex TC staff and well done GWR for taking the initiative that seems to be a win-win all round.

They'll be obvious to spot on the trains though, as they'll be pointing out the exits before departure.

It is definitely a good news story. Credit is certainly doe to GWR for their initiative. It may be that they hired the people because of the undoubted skills they already possessed, so making them a better option for GWR than someone new to customer service - but who cares? Everyone's a winner!
