Title: Community organisations with public transport interest - growing?
Post by: grahame on December 01, 2019, 20:01:47
ACoRP's annual awards evening in Telford was the largest ever.
TWSW's general meeting in Tauton was full - all places taken.
RailFuture had to get more chairs out to accommodate people at Stonehouse
MRUG (Melksham) has stepped up from 4 to 6 meetings a year and has moved to a bigger room.
The Bradford-on-Avon Climate & Environment hustings filled and people were turned away.
MRUG's Santa trip to Swindon has sold out with mimimal advertising.

Has community interest in the public transport and also the wider environment ever been keener, or is it just that all five organisations mentioned here got it right with these community engagements?

ACoRP - Association of Community Rail Partnerships
TWSW - TravelWatch SouthWest
MRUG - Melksham Rail User Group
RailFuture - Railfuture's Severnside Branch
