Sadly they are all too common so a post like this with no location makes them less useful.
I assume you are referring to the incident just west of Swindon this morning - in which case South Wales services used the Golden Valley line while some Bristol services and the one train to Exeter were sent via the Berks & Hants. As the incident is now over and it has also been mentioned in the TransWilts thread I am locking this one but leaving it as a reminder.
