Mark Heffernan was the Head of Drivers at the point of him being suspended a couple of years ago.

A quick look at linkedin shows he seems to have moved into another transport related role very quickly after leaving GWR. I wonder what the new employer makes of his court appearance.  I also notice he was previously Head of Organisational Development and Compliance at GWR, whilst the offences were being committed. Hmmm...

At least the news report shows a current GWR train, and not a random alternative.
