Surprising how little focus is given to public transport in the Somerset CLIMATE EMERGENCY questionnaire. Especially so as even Somerset in their briefing admits: "The majority of emissions in Somerset derive from the transport sector – 46.7%, compared to 29.5% from industry and 23.8% from the domestic sector." Bus usage has fallen dramatically in Somerset over the past 10 years as bus services have been starved of funding.
