Title: Visitors to London - attractions at the stations [DotD 2.4.2020] Post by: grahame on April 02, 2020, 09:33:18 A number of London termini have statues and memorials - some very much serious that make us stop and think, others frivolous and fun. Imagine your cousin from Calgary and her husband and two teenage children are in London for a week - which statuses / memorials would you suggest they make a point of taking a look at as they pass through?

It's magnificent frontage suffers from the fact that there is nowhere where you can step back to properly appreciate it.

I have strong views on how this country is handling (or not) the welcoming of refugees, and how its seems to be less than good in oiling the wheel of getting donations through. These are personal views, and I appreciate that my view are far from universal.
