Title: Mark Hopwood and his Thunderer
Post by: patch38 on April 12, 2020, 09:40:02
Good to hear Mark Hopwood on Broadcasting House on BBC Radio 4 this morning demonstrating the use of the ACME Thunderer whistle. Blowing of whistles has been suspended during the Covid-19 crisis to reduce risk of spread of infection and Mark explains the use of the whistle - in more normal times - to host Paddy O'Connell.

It'll be on BBC Sounds later: I'll try and remember to come back and post a link. It's around 26' 30" into the programme.

Knowing that he was a class 50 fan when I saw the title I assumed he owned 50008. :)
