You'll travel along the Pudding Creek Estuary, where you may see osprey, blue herons, and other wildlife. The journey takes you into majestic redwood groves, and to a turnaround at the historic Glen. This trip is suited for riders of all skill levels. The railbikes include an optional motorized assist, to help you up the return grade, or simply to allow you take a breather during your ride. But how do you convince HMRI that riders will be a) sober and b) keep body parts within the loading gauge at all times?

As I dont think you could rely on the rail bikes to operate the track circuits reliably, we have 3 rail bikes here at moors valley, on 7.25 inch gauge, one a standard bike, one recumberant, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3shMT09Rps and a very scary petrol powered version!

The differences between 7.25" and 56.75" gauges are illustrated in an article in the Bournemouth Echo (https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/news/18604225.moors-valley-railway-derails/) where it's reported a train came off the track - "A GRANDFATHER described the moment the Moors Valley railway derailed as “very odd”." and the public comment are "Is this really headline news?" and ""Steam was still coming out of it which I thought was a bit dodgy.''
