Title: Shearings
Post by: REVUpminster on June 24, 2020, 10:59:05
Shearings rises from the ashes; the name bought by coach group Leger who expect to continue with Shearings portfolio and hotels.  The elderly coach tour market is huge so somone was bound to fill the market.

The report I have seen said Leger had bought the brand, website and customer database, but explicitly not the associated hotels, nor indeed taken on any of the former employees. Of course they may take up some of this later I guess and are talking to former Sheerings suppliers.

They are offering low deposit on future holidays to former Sheerings customers.

The acquisition doesn’t include the hotels.
I’ve said from the day they went bust the most valuable asset will be the name. If I wanted a coach holiday the first brand that springs to mind is Shearings, and that will be what I’d googlr
