So I will continue up to and include the Sunday 5th July 2020,as by this time I think we will be able to get out and about more than we have been able too recently. From yesterday on the forum (http://www.firstgreatwestern.info/23764) Quote I took my first train trip since mid-March yesterday. A huge "Thank you" to Infoman for all his hard word over recent months putting together the daily listing of programs with a rail interest during the time we have all been pretty much locked down. It has been very useful indeed to have a short summary of what to watch, and I have learned a great deal about railways as far away as New Zealand, Mexico, Criccieth and Paddington. With things starting to open up again, now is indeed the 'right' time to drop back from this daily report and indeed I look forward to starting to travel beyond a few hundred yards fairly soon. However, we're not going to be back to "business totally as usual" for some considerable time, and I would encourage anyone who spots an interesting tranport program on the TV schedule to post on this board to help those of us just traveling a fraction of the amount we did to keep in touch with the rail world. My conclusion from all the info is that generally Yesterday and Channel 5 seem to have more railway programmes than the others. If some thing really hits me in the head,I'll post the details. Just hope no one will mind, if any of the Major television broadcasters are reporting live from a rail way location I'll post the details.
