Mentioning traffic ... from a none-scientific first look this morning (biased sample of one trip), I've got the impression that shorter journeys are making a comeback far more quickly than longer ones, so perhaps there won't be too many people to collect from Pewsey ... 06:41 and 07:19 cancelled, but Real Time Trains is showing an 07:49 VST / 1Z69 so perhaps that's a mop up. Train showing at 08:17 too ... ex Plymouth, and at Castle Cary as I write. ECS for the 06:12 comes from Stoke Gifford via Taunton and was held at Castle Cary. It left Pewsey just 25 late.
Curiosity then got me wondering why the ecs is routed via Taunton.
