Quote Storm Francis is expected to bring high winds and heavy rain to parts of the UK today. Great Western Railway services may be affected by this adverse weather. Customer advice: Worcester Foregate Street - Hereford A tree is blocking the railway at Great Malvern. Trains between Worcester Foregate Street and Hereford may be cancelled, delayed or revised. This is expected until the end of the day. Bristol Parkway / Bristol Temple Meads / Gloucester - Swindon Trains may be delayed between these stations due to a 50mph speed restriction being imposed. Cleared incidents: Cardiff Central - Bridgend Trains are now able to run normally between Cardiff Central and Bridgend following disruption caused by tree was blocking the railway. Bristol Temple Meads - Severn Beach Trains are now able to run normally to and from Severn Beach following a tree is blocking the railway at Avonmouth. Worcester Shrub Hill - Oxford Trains are now running normally between Worcester Shrub Hill and Oxford following an obstruction on the line between Moreton-in-Marsh and Kingham earlier today.
