It is the brainchild of violinist Jack Liebeck and Oxford University's professor of experimental physics, Brian Foster, who have been on a world tour of lecture recitals about Einstein's scientific innovations and their musical context. The festival opens at the Holywell Music Room, in Holywell Street, at 8pm on April 30 with a solo recital by pianist Piers Lane and ends with a classical music concert at the same venue on May 5.
