Title: Through Train. Marchwood - Eastleigh - Westbury - Swindon - Oxford
Post by: grahame on November 30, 2020, 21:34:14
Makes sense to join up services ... been done today.
Marchwood - Southampton
Southampton - Salisbury (via Eastleigh)
Salisbury - Westbury
Westbury - Swindon
Swindon - Oxford
Oxford - Banbury - Fenny Compton

Now - can we have it as a passenger service all day please?  I have travelled to and from Fenny Compton many times - but appreciate that it would probably not be high up the list for a re-opened station.   Onward to Moor Street or to Nuneaton?

I supose it was in stealth mode, being MOD traffic, so no photos.

Wow - that was a long way round! Is this usual for MoD traffic, or was it the only free path available to fit in the service?
