Title: Cornish Disruption
Post by: GBM on December 09, 2020, 13:19:35
From Journeycheck
Cancellations to services between Liskeard and Truro
Due to the fire brigade dealing with an incident between Liskeard and Truro all lines are blocked.
Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until 13:30 09/12.

From Cornwall Live (much clickbait)
https://www.cornwalllive.com/news/cornwall-news/live-fire-train-stopped-cornwall-4781544
Train services between Liskeard and Truro have been suspended as the emergency services deal with an ongoing incident.

It is believed there is a fire somewhere on the track and Great Western Railway has confirmed the service suspension between Liskeard and Truro.

Aidan Treglown is one of those stuck aboard a stationary train.

He said: ?On the 10:54 from Truro to Paddington we have been stuck in Par station (have been for approximately 30 minutes) as the train ahead of us is on fire - the fire brigade are at the scene (ahead of us, so we can't see) and there are police officers at the station............continues

Unable to see anything ahead of the 10h54 as that one seems to have arrived at Plymouth on time (viewing Reatime trains)

Electrical fire on a HST power car working 2C19.  On board fire system put it out by the sounds of it, but fire brigade, etc. attended.
