I'm posting this here because:

1) I can't believe no-one has posted about this before, but I can't find it;
2) I'm not sure which board it belongs to!

This is the plan to turn the former Royal Ordnance Factory at Bridgwater into a business campus: https://thisisgravity.co.uk/

What might interest us is the apparent intention, which NR have confirmed to be feasible, to reopen the rail connection to both freight and passengers. The Campus is it seems included in the Bristol Freeport bid...

Given this link, I'm tempted to put it under 'Bristol (WECA) Commuters'.

It really should have its own thread ...why not move this (even this discussion of ours) to either WECA or "Campaigns" and add a summary?

When looking to provide every reasonable assistance to the "reopen" chap late last year, the difference between
* the Coffee Shop which looks primarily to current and soon services and passenger travel this year / next year
* campaign sites and idea development resources
was highlighted.  Our data isn't very well correlated nor all-covering on futures beyond what' expected in the next couple of years, but then that isn't our area / aim anyway!

Note that the Bristol Freeport bid appears to have failed - it was not on Sunak's list.
