Ran as 1Y65 Bargain day trip if only they were allowed - £15.00 off peak day return "any permitted" Bristol Parkway to Taunton, and a direct train is always a permitted route. The service was a Paddington Plymouth service that would have started in Reading. As the stock was coming from Bristol to start at Reading due to the closure towards Paddington, they simply ran what would have been the Bristol to Reading empty move, in service.
