Title: Early trains - Bath to Bristol
Post by: grahame on July 08, 2021, 06:37:27
From time to time, I used to catch the 06:10 from Bath to Bristol for onward travel - a lift into Bath because the buses and connecting trains didn't start early enough. Saved a night staying away from home; always surprised at the number of people using the train - not huge, but it wasn't just carrying fresh air either.  It was the first train of the day ... and the 06:28 (next train) was a stopper - at least half an hour later onwards from Bristol northwards as a change of trains was needed there in that case.

Next stopper - 06:55 - seems to have been in trouble this week / down the pile - I have noticed it cancelled on a couple of occasions this week. And that leaves a gap approaching an hour at Oldfield Park and Keynsham.

06:55 Bath Spa to Bristol Temple Meads due 07:13
06:55 Bath Spa to Bristol Temple Meads due 07:13 will be cancelled.
This is due to a shortage of train crew.

I wonder what the future is under MetroWest for early trains into Bristol.
