Title: The Borders line - how many times does it cross the England / Wales border?
Post by: grahame on July 15, 2021, 06:31:20
From the Shropshire Star (https://www.shropshirestar.com/news/transport/2021/07/15/public-transport-confusion-as-rules-on-face-masks-differ-across-the-border/)

Quote
Plans for Welsh trains to require passengers to wear face coverings and English trains to leave it up people's own judgement are "another example" of confusion between the countries, according to a Shropshire MP.

[snip]

Rather than ask people to put a mask on as trains cross the border, Transport for Wales has said it will ask people to wear a covering on all of their services even if the whole journey is in England - for example from Gobowen to Telford.

I think the answer to the question at the top of this thread is FOUR ... border crossed
* Between Newport and Hereford
* Between Shrewsbury and Wrexham
* Between Wrexham and Chester
* Between Chester and Rhyl

Trains possessed of their own volition, and making demands of those pesky humans. This is evolution in action!
