Title: Bus Back Better - Frome Town Council Town Matters Committee (04/08/2021) Post by: Lee on August 05, 2021, 00:05:41 I had the pleasure of speaking in favour of the Westbury-Frome electric bus proposal this evening, as part of Peter Travis' excellent FAVBUG Bus Back Better presentation to the Frome Town Council Town Matters Committee.
For those of you who are interested, the whole thing was streamed live on YouTube, with a recording available: The Bus Back Better presentation begins at 1:18, with my bit - complete with the most polite version of the theatre hook yanking someone off stage when they have been on too long that you will ever see - on at 1:35. The commitee approved the Bus Back Better submission though, which is the main thing. Credit to member Phil as well, who has put a lot of work in to support this. To be fair though, some of you may be more interested in Emma Parker's fascinating Active Travel presentation, which begins at :49, and includes a piece on the relatively newly-formed Frome Station Friends.
