Title: Ticket Vending machine removals Post by: Surrey 455 on September 26, 2021, 22:50:11 I noticed this week at Bookham and Hounslow that the newer machines have been taken out of service and that the ticket collection machines at Waterloo appear to have been covered up. I am guessing that this is also happening across the SWR network.
The sticker over the screens at Bookham and Hounslow says Quote This ticket machine is no longer in service. Please use an alternative machine or why not try using our app to buy your ticket ahead of time. I wonder what the reason is. Is there a design fault or is it cheaper to remove TVMs that they may consider to be underused?
