So good to be out to Didcot yesterday and to meet so many friends ...

perhaps "Welcome to Paddington Station" on the platform signs wasn't even needed for no 3!

No 2 looks like platform 1 at Swindon to me (and hopefully a connecting train to/for Melksham on platform 2).

It’s actually platform 2 at Swindon (so almost certainly is the train for Melksham).

The periscope-like appendage which appears to be sprouting from the roof of the train is the top of a lamp post on platform 1!  :D

No 1 is Taunton, just east of the station

All correct - Swindon, Paddington and Taunton from Sunday - which feels an age ago already!
