Title: OTD - 27th February (1942) - 1st transport of French Jews to nazi-Germany
Post by: grahame on February 26, 2022, 23:09:56
Researching "on this day" took me to a site for the purpose (https://www.onthisday.com/events/february/27) which told me

27th February 1942 - 1st transport of French Jews to nazi-Germany

Researching further brought me to https://encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/article/france and the horror story.  Didn't mention 27th February explicity but it's a story that mustn't slip from the memory. I'm posting anyway.
