They actually opened on 1 June, so just a couple of months late Bristol Post!

They were also never 'forgotten' or 'lost'. Everyone knew they were there, there was just no cash to refurbish them, until now.

Noticed a new ladies toilet had appeared (10/12) when travelling through recently

Also noticed this recently while waiting for train to RDA on p13. (When did Beach line trains start using those high-numbered platforms?)

We do seem to get more variety since they started running through to Weston S M, though I can't remember coming in that far east...

Saw that the ladies facilities had been reopened on Sunday last when I spotted the reinstalled (I think) modesty screen.
No evidence of the gents being reopened yet.... perhaps there were none to start with.

Edit to add that I've now seen that the Bristol Live article does refer to gents loos there as well.

I'm not sure that everyone knew. I, for one, certainly didn't!

I assume, back in the day, every platform would have had a toilet?

Probably not back in Brunel's day.

These toilets were originally gents, but they have been reconfigured into ladies, as the demand for extra ladies toilets is greater (you just have to look at the queues for the ladies).
