Title: Restoration of Rewley Road swing bridge, Oxford
Post by: eightonedee on December 28, 2022, 11:51:25
Some brighter news, picked up from my You Tube feed.

I missed this before, but on the regional ITV News recently there was a report about the restoration of this structure, apparently one of only two moving bridges over the Thames (the other being Tower Bridge), albeit no longer connected to any running railway line - see - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kytg_PK6N60

Indeed, it's looking superb now.  Only a five minute walk from the station on the path between the Said Business School and the short stay car park, if anyone has half an hour to kill whilst in Oxford.
