Oops ... for the record a number of these:

12:15 Penzance to London Paddington due 17:29

12:15 Penzance to London Paddington due 17:29 will be delayed at Bodmin Parkway.
This is due to a boat colliding with a bridge.

Hope everyone's all right - thought come to mind of the Severn Bridge on 25th October 1960 - https://www.severntales.co.uk/severn-bridge-disaster.html

"All lines are blocked"?  I guess it is standard text even though the bridge is single track.

However what this is supposed to mean, I have no idea...

Network rail cut a signalling cable on the Paignton line whilst carrying out maintenance

Soon we can expect "Due to rats ingested into the atmospheric tube at Starcross, all lines are blocked."

Seriously, if anything sucks near Starcross it's GWR's Twitter message template for disruption. Also, starting a sentence with 'Due  to' needs to get in the sea.

On internal systems, Network Rail apologised as 'somebody hit the wrong button when selecting the reason'  ;D
