Title: World Cup of Stations 2023
Post by: grahame on May 22, 2023, 07:25:48
Through this week ... 48 stations in competition , the South West represented by Liskeard, Yatton, Okehampton and Penmere.   Wales represented by stations in North Wales. Evensham creeps in for the West Midlands and there is no group for Wessex or Central Southern England.

Never quite sure why it is called “World Cup” when it’s only this country which has qualified.

One in each group. But I think you can vote both on twitter & online via the RDG website, so two votes per group.

The 1st "World Cup of..." railway things I think was by Geoff Marshall about Tube lines and was called thus because the competition format is based on the FIFA World Cup knock out format.

It was....a tad naughty to be half-inched by Community Rail/RDG from Geoff....
