Title: a tale of Gainborough stations
Post by: infoman on October 15, 2023, 04:01:12
Visited Gainsborough a few weeks ago it has two stations

Central and Lea Road

Lea Road has more trains calling than Central

Should be grateful that Gainsborough has a train station,as there is a SUNDAY service,

BUT no bus services to Lincoln

Story at http://www.passenger.chat/13896 with which I may merge this if it goes that way - on Gainsborough Central

Lea Road has passenger services Sheffield to Lincoln, and Doncaster to Peterborough, and a fair amount of freight bypassing the East Coast main one.   It's a bit out of town.
