Title: "Chippenham Parkway"
Post by: Mark A on March 19, 2024, 14:18:32
Coming across a 'Park and ride east of Bath' discussion hosted by a fading short-form writing social media site made me think of Thingley Junction's railway land, which at some stage has gained potentially good road access courtesy of the A350.

Putting aside that there'd need to be a *revolution* in the provision of railway infrastructure / trains to service it, and that the siting of the electricity feeder station at Thingley has perhaps not been carefully considered, has the site ever been a candidate for a parkway station? (And if so, a parkway station for... where?)
