A double landslide has temporarily closed a busy commuter train line through the Pennines. Heavy rain at the weekend caused mud slips between Sheffield and Stockport (link below.)

Work on re-cabling in the Woodhead Tunnel by National Grid has been suspended. They have confirmed that no work will take place until April 2009 at the very earliest (link below.)

I thought Chiltern had introduced this mobile blocking window film when they introduced their Clubman trains several years ago.
